This piece continues my sustained investigation into the relationship between nature and humans because the piece shows me as a young girl with flowers raining down, and the girl raises her hands as if wondering why the flowers are falling, symbolizing her own growth and change. The physical reality of the pressed flowers underline what is real, because although I am no longer two years old, these flowers remain frozen in time.
